This bow is approximately 4.5" to 5" wide from outside of tail to outside of tail. The bow has 4 layers as shown in the picture and a felt softball embellishment in the center. It can be mounted on a partially lined alligator clip OR a large french barrette. You get to choose the color of the bow. Side: Please indicate if the bow will be worn on the right or the left side of the child's head. Why? The softball heart will be upside down if you put your child's hair back to one side and you order the wrong side. If you are simply wearing the bow above a ponytail, then the side doesn't matter. If you pull her hair back to HER right side, then you need a right bow, etc.
